DEPRESSDRAWING.jpgAfter you see the practice of hiring Bureau Agents in 1922, it would be interesting to wonder where it would all be today.  (By the way, you'll note at times I use the word "FBI" in some places long before the Bureau was designated with that name.  This is to keep the information simple, without explaining each time the progression of the Bureau's name changes.)

In this 1922 memo, then Director William Burns sends down an order to Assistant, J. Edgar Hoover on the hiring of a few men. Burns would be fired in 1924 for his role in the Teapot Dome Scandal and Hoover would be Director.  The Integrity that was never there would change......

Cronyism at it's best.
